We decided to give this place a try based on the positive reviews. We always like to try new places for good pizza and we were really surprised at how good the pizza is here. I liked the crispy crust and the sauce was really good, not to overpowering. Overall I'd put this pie tops in Alpena. Very good!
Absolutely loved the pizza. It was one of the best pizza's I had in Alpena. I would recommend Freier's to everyone if you are looking for amazing handmade pizza.
Wow! Randy is making some awesome pies over in Alpena. My son and I were in town from Traverse City and stopped in to Freiers Pizzeria. Couldn't have been more pleased. The mozzarella sticks and marinara are the best I have ever eaten. The pizza was all fresh ingredients baked to perfection. Can't wait to get back to Alpena and try more of Randy's treasures.

My favorite pizza in Alpena. Costs a little more than Pizza Hut but the pies are far superior at Freier's. Have a small crew to feed? Ask for the 2 for $20 medium special.
