A great place to visit. It has beautiful scenery and great walking paths. There are some good sledding areas in the winter as well.

Beautiful area. Some walk-only trails all around the island plus lookouts here and there. A paved path goes up to the main lookout for stroller or wheelchair access. Many enjoy the river for fishing or kayaking/canoeing in the summer. It is a beautiful spot year round and many local families and parties frequent the new picturesque bridge for a photo opportunity.
