Beautiful Mass for healing with four area priests. Thank you Lord for our Catholic Church and faith.
Very fine experience at All Saints Catholic Church today with Father Polycarp officiating. He explained the readings and the Gospel really well. I know what is important. To turn from sin, make a good confession, and behave truly as Jesus did. He welcomed each person with love and forgiveness. Showing genuine interest in others. Going to mass at church every week is not enough. As a Catholic, I need to be of service to others, showing love of my faith, my Jesus, my Lord God, is here with us. October is the month of the rosary, specifically, the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima, we pray publicly on the steps of St. Bernard church on October 14th at noon to commemorate this event, where she appeared to the children, and to a crowd, performed the Miracle of the Sun so they would believe. She is Our Mother. We pray the rosary for peace in our world. Julie Murray gave a lesson after mass on why we pray the rosary. She said we meditate daily on Jesus's life when we pray the rosary. So it is a prayer to Him through the powerful prayer of the Holy Rosary of The Blessed Virgin Mary! As a member of the Rosary Society, each of us, pray a decade of the rosary, which is The Lord's Prayer, followed by 10 Hail Mary's, Glory Be to the Father, and Our Lady of Fatima prayer: Oh my Jesus, Forgive us our sins, save us from the power of Hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of your mercy. Amen.
