Nice, but small airport
Small airport that is only served by Delta. We'll run and friendly staff. Short lines!
Being an Alpena resident and a business traveler - I appreciate all of the staff at Alpena Regional Airport from Becky, Roger and others from the airline to Eric and Danielle from TSA. They all treat me with respect and take good care of not only us frequent fliers that are there every week, but all travelers that come and go through Alpena. I fought to keep Delta Connection there when they threatened to leave, and I will continue to fight every time they threaten to bail on us. We need our little airport!
One of my favorite airports to fly out of. Being that it's essentially one-room, it's an easy and hassle-free experience. Arrive one hour before your departure, and you'll have time to spare.
